Gareth Gittins

I started my career at the age of 11 playing guitar with Rockin’ Rodders. A few years later I joined the band Ricochet. This started a lifetime passion for the music business. Ricochet developed into Sender. We worked hard and were eventually signed to Columbia Publishing and Total Music Wales, as a result we were lucky enough to record with producers such as Owen Morris, Greg Haver and Joe Gibb. Sender recorded multiple albums over a 10 year period and toured all over the UK, which was a great experience. Unfortunately after all those years together Sender came to and end. I moved on to join a punk rock band Order 66 who gigged and released original music and a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. The tribute band toured all around the UK and Europe, even selling out theatres and music venues.

After some saving I took myself off to ACM in Guilford and completed 2 diplomas in contemporary music. During this time, I also worked as a session guitarist. I was amazed to quickly find myself playing with some of the worlds most respected musicians, both live and in the studio. This was a great period in my career. I even took part the Olympic Torch Ceremony in London performing with a Micheal Jackson Tribute Band. This was the largest televised event I have ever taken part in.

I then took a different direction away from session work. I joined the function band Front Row with some of my very talented ACM buddies and together we joined the cruise ship industry. We had an amazing time. We played all over the world for about 5 years, before most of us settled back on dry land. Here we created The Trends Party Band and we now perform in the UK and Europe.

As well as The Trends, also still play guitar with Rockin’ Rodders, Ocean Blues (with Andy below) and Lenny’s Rock and Roll band which features number 1 song writer Darrell Edwards. During lock down I couldn’t gig, so I decided to start writing and recording my own music. I am glad to say it has been a great success and I am happier than ever creating my own music.

Andy Gray

My music features Andy on drums. He is a superb drummer with more than 40 years of experience. He has worked with bands that have a range of styles from classic rock and Brit pop to jazz and funk, soul, disco and more.

Previously he was a member of Epic who were signed to Revolver records and released "Black Hole Vertigo". He gigged extensively throughout UK and the band Epic featured on the BPI - Best of British CD. He has also worked on TV and radio.
